Synonyms

Introduction

Enhance your search experience by configuring synonyms and spell corrections. This helps users find products even if they misspell search terms.

This feature is exclusive to the PRO version.

Adding Synonyms

1. Access the Synonyms Page:  Go to Smart Search > Synonyms in your WordPress dashboard.
2. Add Synonym Pairs:  Enter pairs of misspelled and correct words in the provided fields. Example: “suprise” as a synonym for “surprise”.

Synonyms added on this page will apply to all Smart Search widgets.

Widget-Specific Synonyms

For specific widgets, add synonyms directly in the widget settings under the Synonyms tab.
