Introduction
Stop words are common words that should be excluded from search queries to enhance search efficiency and relevance. If you don’t familiar with this topic please check the next article “What are Stop Words?”.
This feature is exclusive to the PRO version.
Adding Stop Words
- Navigate to
Smart Search > Stop Wordsin your WordPress dashboard. - Add common words such as
"and", "or", "for",etc., into the provided field.
Stop words added on this page will apply to all Smart Search widgets.
Widget-Specific Stop Words
For specific widgets, add Stop Words directly in the widget settings under the Stop Words tab.
